With gritted teeth, Anthony glared at Zack, unable to say a word for a long time.
He knew better than anyone that he had fallen into a trap—he had been set up, and the one who had tricked him was none other than Zack, the guy he had always looked down on!
"You're dreaming if you think you can scam me. You obviously let go of them yourself just now!" He couldn't hold back and growled.
With an innocent expression, Zack shrugged. "Are you kidding me? This is store merchandise worth over a million. Do you think I can just randomly use them to scam people? If you don't want to pay, just say so. I'll call the police or head straight to your house to collect the money."
Anthony's face turned a deep shade of purple. He had been kicked out of his house recently. If Zack really went to his family, there was a good chance his father would disown him.
However, the problem was that his family had given him the card he had now. If he spent over a million in a single day, his father would definitely freeze all his cards.
"Are you really planning to weasel your way out of this, Anthony? Aren't you usually quite generous? Why can't you even pull out a measly million today?" Zack sneered, taunting him.
At this, the others became confused. Normally, this amount of money would mean nothing to Anthony, so why was he hesitating?
"Anthony, just pay him. We're still waiting to go eat."
"Yeah, it's just some pocket change. Anthony would never worry about such a small amount!"
"Zack, you're only acting tough because of your sister. If you're really that great, why don't you—"
"Sorry, I'm not great at all," Zack interjected with a pout, looking like a mischievous brat who was asking for a beating. "Luckily, I have a sister, and I'm totally acting tough because of her."
Anthony was so furious that he was close to grinding his teeth into dust. After weighing his options, he finally pulled out his last remaining card for Zack to swipe.
