Love and Devotion No Longer His to Claim (Angela and Dexter) novel Chapter 322

Thankfully, Angela kept those two names to herself.

Dexter stood up icily and left abruptly, leaving a lingering chill in the ward.

Angela felt indifferent about his departure. She was even glad he had left—she could finally sleep peacefully.

Dexter was furious and paced by the door with his hands on his hips. After waiting for over half an hour without Angela coming out, he finally gave up and cursed her for being heartless.

He was frustrated by her claim that there were no good men in the world. It was unfair to him. How could she dismiss all men simply because of Zayn's cowardice?

After Angela spent two days in the hospital, her menstrual period had finally ended. Then, she rested at home for two days before finally returning to the company like she had been longing to do.

Clara mentioned that the department of supervision had recently identified and penalized several staff members for violations over the past two days, according to the company's policy. That had resulted in complaints from various departments concerning the department of supervision's actions.

"There's nothing to be afraid of. If they work properly, they won't make mistakes or get caught." Angela smiled faintly.

Clara nodded in agreement and declared, "We have no fear. The company won't let those wrongdoers stick around. By the way, I recently uncovered another troubling incident within the women's group."

"Oh? What's it?" With a slight frown, Angela instinctively turned her gaze toward Clara. The latter leaned in and whispered something into her ear.

Angela was clearly distressed. "Seriously? Look into it! I'll ask Joanne's help with the investigation. We must catch the person!"

Clara nodded and left, relaying Angela's message to her colleagues. Ultimately, they agreed on a countermeasure, planning to work with the operations and logistics department to catch the person together.
