Love and Devotion No Longer His to Claim (Angela and Dexter) novel Chapter 357

Those familiar with Dexter would recognize his tone immediately. It was clear that he was still in a bad mood. He didn't even want to open the door himself and insisted that others do it for him.

To prevent Angela from being sad, Kerry quickly opened the door.

Everyone noticed Dexter standing there, burdened with a heavy load and wearing a grim expression.

"Mr. Bamford, you..." Kerry was taken aback.

Dexter couldn't open the door because his hands were full of shopping bags.

"I went to bring things for her," Dexter replied reluctantly, pushing past Kerry.

Clara cast a questioning glance at Angela, her eyes silently inquiring about the situation at hand.

Angela chose to ignore it. After being unjustly scolded, she was still angry, and she had no desire to engage with Dexter.

After Dexter entered, he put everything on the coffee table and sat on the couch, appearing cold and unapproachable. No one said a word after that.

"Perhaps we should leave first," Kerry suggested uneasily, sensing that the situation was less than favorable.

Clara nodded. "Ms. Graham, we're leaving now, but we'll visit you another day."

A few of them shared a silent understanding and vanished without a trace. Even Fiona slipped away quietly as well.

The atmosphere was thick with tension, and Angela felt a strong urge to escape. However, her swollen ankle rendered her unable to move. She remained trapped in bed, powerless to join them.

Angela was not one to tolerate grievances. In a commanding tone, she turned to Dexter and asserted, "Get out."
