Angela was a little irritated. "Me too. She's definitely doing this for Trevor."
"She said Trevor won't be there," Fiona replied.
"I don't want to do it. I'm busy since I need to go to Yedren to inspect the project revisions. Plus, the kickboxing club from last time just invited me to their exhibition match, and Mia also needs my help from time to time. I don't have time to put in all this effort just to be unappreciated," Angela said bluntly.
Fiona nodded. "I'm not that free either. She always favors that bastard. It's honestly disheartening."
As such, the two of them sent messages in the family group chat, saying they were both busy and suggesting that Natalie assign the task to someone else.
But that very night, Natalie had a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital.
Upon hearing the news, Angela and Fiona were left with no choice but to visit her.
As expected, Natalie scolded them both the moment she saw them, accusing them of being disrespectful and uncaring toward their elder. In the end, the two had no choice but to agree to take on the responsibility.
On the way back, Angela thought it over and finally voiced her idea. "Madam Fiona, I'll have Joanne do it. How about you get one of your people to do it as well, and we outsource the task?"
Fiona suddenly turned her head, staring intently at her. Feeling a little diffident, Angela instinctively wanted to look away from that sharp gaze.
Unexpectedly, Fiona said, "I was thinking the exact same thing!"
What a funny coincidence!
Fiona assigned an extremely capable assistant named Kate Howell to the task. The four of them created a group chat, where Joanne and Kate provided daily updates on their progress. Within just three to four days, everything was ready.
