After a brief moment of contemplation, Elena turned to Dexter and asked, “Do you think the organizers gave her the award because of you-”

Shelley’s face flushed crimson. She was momentarily at a loss for words.
At this moment, Elena stood up. “Ms. Rutherford is simply curious. Ms. Graham is an amateur. How could the judges be so taken with her work?”

Angela blinked in surprise.
She could choose who would present her award? This was truly a creative approach.

The other man, however, seemed to keep to himself. He was distant from the others and not aligned with Dexter.
