Chester had installed the function Rosalind requested, yet she had no plans of leaving. Instead, she settled beside him and struck up a conversation. “Chester, how are you and Angelina doing lately?” 

“Fine.” 

“How’s your baby? Is she easy to care for?” 

“Hmm.” 

“I learned that Angelina has a background in fashion design. If she’s available, I’d love to discuss it with her.” 

Chester was momentarily stunned. He recognized Angelina’s talent. “Her designs are unique. You wouldn’t get them.” 

“I love special designs, Chester.” 

“Mgm.” 

“After hearing your thoughts, I feel even more compelled to discuss this further with her.” 

Although Chester remained silent, Rosalind found herself intrigued. The level of admiration Chester expressed made her wonder just how exceptional Angelina’s design skill truly was. 

“Are Angelina’s designs great?” Rosalind asked after getting back. 

Megan nearly choked on the water. “They’re just average.” 

While Angelina’s designs were alright, they were certainly far worse than hers. “Why do you suddenly want to know?” 

“When I asked Chester for help with the plug–in today, he mentioned that most people find Angelina’s designs difficult to understand.” 

Megan was speechless. 

“Why hasn’t Alexander visited you lately? He used to follow you every day, but it’s been a while since I’ve seen him,” asked Rosalind. 

“Why are you always focused on men? One moment, it’s Chester, the next, it’s Alexander. Do you feel you can’t live without one?” 

Rosalind’s heart began to race as she suddenly thought of Chester. 

Megan turned to her and asked, “What’s wrong with you? You pushed for a new feature in an already flawless mini–program. Both Isa and I believe that your suggestion isn’t particularly

useful.” 

“You won’t know if it’s useful until you try it.” 

Megan set her work aside and asked, “Did you visit Chester on purpose?” 

“Nope.” 

Rosalind kept her feelings secret, but she couldn’t hide them from Megan. She was unsure when she started liking Chester, but he frequently occupied her thoughts, especially during her free time. Initially, she found him unremarkable, viewing him as just an ordinary person. But later… 

“You talked to Nora for a long time that day. She said men change after their wives give birth. Are you expecting something?” 

“What are you guys discussing?” Isadora asked as she entered. “I just finished a coffee meeting with my former boss, and he shared some suggestions. I took detailed notes. Would you like to take a look at them?”
