After taking a shower, Chester came out and found Angelina still curled up in bed.

“I told you to let me carry you earlier. Why did you insist on making things difficult?”

He had wanted to bring her inside the bathroom earlier after they finished having sex, but she had stubbornly refused out of embarrassment.

With her cheeks flushed pink, Angelina suddenly flipped the blanket open. She was dressed, but there was something else on the bed.

Chester’s mind went blank, and Angelina wasn’t much better. She bled, so it explained the discomfort she was feeling earlier.

Without hesitation, he contacted Alexander and requested him to take care of Catherine for the night. Since Alexander loved the baby, he agreed immediately.

With that, Chester went downstairs and handed Catherine over to Alexander while Angelina stood near the apartment door, visibly nervous.

She was wearing a long gray hooded dress that reached her ankles. The soft fabric clung delicately to her petite figure, outlining her perfect curves.

Worried that she might catch a cold, Chester gently pulled the hood over her head. Her long hair fell loosely around her shoulders as she stood there with her legs pressed together.

He could see the anxiety in her eyes from a distance. Hence, he walked up to her and took her hand. “Did you hand Catherine over to Alexander?”

“Yes, I did.” Angeline looked up at him; her nose tingled, and her eyes reddened.

“Don’t be scared. We’re going to the hospital now.”

As she was about to take a step, he bent down and carried her in his arms to the car.

The doctor was startled that the two of them rushed to the hospital for something so ridiculous in the dead of night.

“Am I bleeding because I didn’t recover properly after giving birth?” Sitting on the hospital bed, Angelina asked anxiously, “Doctor, is there something wrong with me?”

“You’ve just been too rough during sex and need to be more careful in the future,” the female doctor replied, pushing her glasses up her nose as she shot a sharp glance at Chester.

Upon hearing her words, he tried to maintain his composure, but the more he forced himself to stay calm, the redder his face and neck became

The doctor couldn’t believe that he looked so honest, yet was so freaky in bed. Angelina couldn’t help but glance at him too.
