1064 Figuring Out Each Other’s Identities
Mackenzie was filled with anger when she saw her brother cozying up to Roselynn. It was all my brother’s fault for being so useless. How could he submit to Emmanuel’s sister?
Fortunately, amidst her busy schedule, she managed to join the video call and immediately spoke up for Julian upon hearing Alessandra’s words. “Mom, Julian is a renowned photographer and artist, so having long hair suits his professional demeanor!”
“Is that so?” Alessandra understood, but her expression remained displeased.
Understanding was one thing; accepting it was another!
After all, people from their generation would not appreciate men with long hair.
At that moment, Roselynn glanced at the time and realized it was already past noon, and the other party was still not here!
What was going on?
That person was still making a fuss!
Seeing her impatient expression, Julian initiated a conversation. “What’s wrong? Is your blind date running late?”
Roselynn nodded impatiently.
Julian immediately replied, “That is unacceptable! As a gentleman, how can he be late for a date with someone as stunning as you? I won’t let him off the hook when I see him later!”
After saying that, he took the opportunity to sit at Roselynn’s table.
She did not chase him away because he did strike a chord with her. Moreover, she even remarked self- deprecatingly, “Not only is he late, but he also said that he wouldn’t come on a blind date with me even if the world were to be destroyed or even if someone forced him to jump off a building!”
“What? That’s infuriating-”
Julian immediately stood up and was about to unleash his anger upon hearing this, but he suddenly froze!
Wait… Wait a minute.
This statement not only sounded familiar, but it also sounded exactly like what he said!
“So, do you know now?”
Roselynn did not understand why he froze and continued saying self–deprecatingly, “Even someone who is overweight and smells bad doesn’t want to come on a blind date with me, I am a malicious and ominous woman. Please stop bothering me. I’m doing this for your own good!”
Julian ignored her entire sentence and latched onto one key point and said in an astonished tone, “Someone who is overweight and smells bad? You said your blind date is overweight?”
“Yes!”

She noticed his strange expression and couldn’t help but furrow her brows.
Before she knew it, he suddenly jumped up in excitement, grabbed her hand, and exclaimed, “You… Are you Roselynn?”
Roselynn furrowed her brows even tighter, shook off his hand, and asked curiously, “When did you find out my name?”
