Beatrix had encountered people like Lara far too many times! Individuals like her were as common as the fishes in the sea, especially on those platforms where they could get away with saying anything they wanted.

They would constantly act as if they were smarter than Einstein himself. They may even start quoting some random philosopher like Plato while acting all superior. Some delusional netizens would start bringing up strategies that didn’t fit the bill and write puff pieces just to get some clicks. 

In reality, they were nothing but clowns! 

Lara was already embarrassed. However, she became infuriated after Beatrix’s tongue-lashing as she hissed, “Beatrix, you’re just trying to create conflict between Mackenzie and me. Well, I’ll show you just who’s in charge. Since I’ve returned, you’ll be yesterday’s news soon enough! I’ll surpass you in no time, you loser! Hmph!” 

She knew of Mackenzie’s influence within the Quillen family. Plus, she had always idolized Mackenzie since she was a child. So, she didn’t dare to criticize her idol. Instead, she could only vent her anger on Beatrix!

Beatrix, who had always had a fiery temper, was not intimidated by Lara’s arguments at all. As soon as Lara spoke, the other Quillen family members who were watching the show started showing interest in how things were unfolding.
