Upon hearing Terence’s words, Emmanuel smiled bitterly and immediately felt immense pressure. However, as Mackenzie’s husband, it was his duty to take on this responsibility. 

“Emmanuel, I have faith in you!” Alfred, who usually refrained from meddling in the affairs of the master’s family, rarely spoke up in front of everyone to address Emmanuel. 

“I will definitely protect Mackenzie and do my best for the Quillen family,” Emmanuel promised the two elders.
