They were in the middle of the Nuthana Grand Martial Showdown. If he were to suffer a humiliating defeat today, he couldn’t possibly just leave in disgrace.

Shane roared and charged straight at him, disregarding anyone in his path. Today, he was determined to defeat Aidan, even if it meant taking on Jesus himself. 

Realizing the unfavorable situation, Aidan took advantage of Izaiah’s men to block Shane and swiftly attempted to 

retreat. 

“What the f*ck? You think you can escape? Not so fast!” 

To his surprise, Frederick, the usually mild-mannered boy next door, threw caution to the wind and pounced on Aidan as he tried to flee. He tackled Aidan to the ground and unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks. 

“How dare you bully Ms. Beatrix? I’ll teach you a lesson! 

“I’ll beat you so hard you’d wish you had never been born! 

“Go to hell!” 

Frederick went berserk, treating Aidan like a punching bag and even stomping on his groin. 

He wouldn’t let anyone who dared to bully his woman get away with it!

Aidan let out a strange cry, his face turning purple and blue from the pain! 

Beatrix watched as these two men from Hero’s Village fought fiercely to defend her honor, and she finally felt 

relieved!

As soon as Mackenzie said this, Emmanuel had a gut feeling that Shane must have picked the fight! Otherwise, with Beatrix and Frederick’s fighting capacity, they wouldn’t have been capable of attacking someone. They would probably get beaten up instead. 

Soon, Emmanuel and Mackenzie arrived at the police station. 

Since they weren’t in Yeringham, they had to go through the procedures step by step. 

It wasn’t until late at night that the couple completed the bail process for Beatrix and the others. However, they had been waiting in the lobby for a long time and still hadn’t seen them being released. 

Mackenzie checked the time again and couldn’t sit still. She wondered if the Tanner family had done something behind the scenes. Otherwise, there was no reason for them to delay the release! 

Emmanuel immediately stood up and said, “Don’t worry, Mackenzie. I’ll go in and find out what’s going on.” 

Mackenzie nodded. She was concerned that Beatrix would face unnecessary hardships inside, especially since she had more experience in society and knew more things.
