Chapter 1374 The Dark Night Elf

Strange?! Did I eat something bad?

Mackenzie pondered over the bread and milk she had for breakfast this morning, as well as the meal she shared with the Silverbane family at noon in that upscale restaurant. There shouldn’t be any food issues, right?

Or is it my stomach acting up again? Should I ask that fool to take a look?

She considered opening the door, but hesitated with her hand on the handle.

The feeling of nausea had subsided.

And just now, the dynamic between her and that fool didn’t seem quite right, so she decided to give both sides some time to cool off.

However, as soon as she sat down, she noticed a buttered bread on the table and the feeling of nausea surged up again.

Mackenzie suddenly had a surprising thought! It appeared that her period was delayed by 2 weeks. Could it be that she’s pregnant?

But it had only been almost a month since that night with the river water incident. Could she have a reaction so soon?

She felt like she should discuss this with Emmanuel as he was a gynecologist and must be knowledgeable. Yet, when she opened the door and stepped out, she discovered that the man had actually left home.

“Damn it! Where did that fool go at this time?”

She felt a bit frustrated for a moment.

Meanwhile, Emmanuel was unaware of his wife’s situation and headed to a private club.

The private club was named Dark Night Elf. It was not well-known among the ordinary people of Onza, but Eve knew that it was a very secretive major stronghold, concealing a small underground city filled with gold!

Emmanuel didn’t inquire about the details as for why she knew. In any case, she mentioned that she would be negotiating with an underground big shot here tonight and asked him to come over to make an appearance if he had time.

Upon arriving at the door, he realized that despite the remote location of this private club, the facade was anything but low-key. It appeared to be a paradise for men to indulge in.

“Sir, please present your membership card!”

The two burly security guards at the entrance halted Emmanuel from entering and requested proof of entry qualifications

“I don’t possess a membership. May I enter now?”

Emmanuel didn’t wish to force his way in and spoke politely

Of course, the transformation into a factory was a matter for the future and he wouldn’t divulge his true intentions to anyone else.

The two security guards continued to scrutinize him, when a seductive woman in a green camisole emerged from

inside.

“Hehe. It’s you?”

Emmanuel looked up at the sound of her voice and recollected who this woman was. Wasn’t she the one who attempted to seduce Julian that night?

It seemed her name was Ava!

Judging by her appearance, she appeared to be a special service worker at this club?

Ava sized Emmanuel up and although he appeared respectable, he didn’t exude a wealthy and aristocratic aura. She couldn’t help but sneer. “Are you here for pleasure? Let me advise you to spare yourself the trouble. You’re simply not qualified!”

“Ava, who is he?”

“Yes. Do you know him? He has a good physique!”

Two more women followed and whispered.
