“You don’t want to expose your chest and butt, so you can only expose your

waist.” Laura analyzed it for her. “Believe me; if you don’t expose anything, no

man would fall for you!”

Claudette thought Laura had a point, but she still hesitated.

“There’s nothing to hesitate over. Hurry and wear it! Are you General Lenoir’s

daughter or not? How can you advance in love and relationships if you’re not

bold enough?” Laura began reprimanding her.

Claudette’s father was a warrior, and he only started a business after he

retired from the military.

The power and status the Lenoir family enjoyed today were closely linked to 

his connections and influence.

“If you don’t act a little bolder today, I’m afraid you’ll lose your chance. Well,

you can just settle for some other rich man. You have tons of admirers,

anyway.”

When Claudette heard that, she hastily grabbed the outfit and ran back to

her room like she was escaping something.

Even though she wasn’t completely brainwashed by Laura, she did

somewhat agree with the latter’s words.

No matter how indifferent a man could be, he was still a man!

Laura was right. Unless Emmanuel were a eunuch, he wouldn’t be completely

unfazed by women.

It was especially so when Claudette knew that she was a diva.

“Alright, Dr. Lowe, here I come! Take this!”

When Claudette thought about Mackenzie’s relationship with Emmanuel, she 

decided to break through her barriers, or she would lose all her chances.

At noon, Claudette went to the gathering place by car. When she arrived, she

She felt even more out of place since she was wearing such a mature outfit.
