“Who?” Adolph stared at Mackenzie and questioned commandingly.

“Magnus Zelinsky!” Mackenzie answered

“What? That can’t be!” Laura exclaimed out of surprise.

Even Quintus couldn’t help but pipe in, “Mackenzie, that’s nonsense. We all

know Magnus likes my sister the most. He cares for her like she’s a princess.

Why would he kill her?”

However, Mackenzie didn’t answer him and met Adolph’s eyes without

backing down. “Easy. General Lenoir can investigate to see if it is truly him. Do

you not have the ability or the guts to do so?

“How dare you?!” Adolph’s right-hand man’s hand came swinging at her.

Mackenzie didn’t flinch at all as she stared at Adolph. She was betting that
