Mackenzie teased, “Are you doing it or not? If not, I’ll ask Wally and my family

bodyguards to follow me.”

Mackenzie continued, “Even though Tobias is a good–for–nothing, he’s the

richest son in the family because his mother came from a wealthy family in

Yeringham. She left a whole lot of wealth for him before she passed away. He

should be able to live a comfortable life with that money.”

“I see.” Emmanuel nodded. That explains why I never see the same woman

around Tobias for more than a week. He’s a playboy like his father, and his

mother’s legacy enables him to be a playboy.

“Let’s just wait and see what happens. Maybe he’s sincere about investing in

the Terence Group.”

Mackenzie suspected Tobias‘ motives, but the Terence Group needed the

money. She had no choice but to meet him. However, she decided that she

would make him pay if it was a prank.

Two hours later, the Maserati stopped in front of a villa on the outskirts of

Yeringham.

It was a huge villa, and the decorations exuded a romantic vibe. Mackenzie

suspected that this place was where Tobias‘ secret lover stayed.

The two got out of the car and walked into the villa. An old man approached

them with a few bodyguards in tow.
