At this point, Emmanuel couldn’t care less about Tobias‘ life. He kicked the

man to the side before walking back to Mackenzie and carrying her into his

arms.

He couldn’t suppress his anger earlier because he saw her injured.

Besides, her coat was removed. He had zero idea about what Tobias did to

her.

After checking up on her, Emmanuel was glad to see only her coat was

removed. The rest of her clothing remained in good condition and showed no

signs of damage.

He signed in relief. He surged to his feet, about to leave the place with her in

his arms.

However, her dress was pinned under the table. The force only tore the dress

open.

Her pantyhose–clad legs came into view.

The sight overwhelmed him. He could feel his skin burn and his breath

quicken.

He was overjoyed.

Emmanuel failed the seventeen blind dates before. He already expected to

live a lonely life without a wife. However, he was now married to a gorgeous
