"Okay, let's go as soon as Charlie and Evelyn are back from school tomorrow!" Molly couldn't wait. She wanted to see Aaron again as well. After all, she had not seen him for a long time. In fact, the last time they had seen each other was when she tried to help him and Ximena with their relationship. Aaron and Ximena had been getting along well with each other, but they hadn't gotten legally married yet.
Although a red certificate was not necessary to determine their affection towards each other, Molly still hoped that the two of them would get legally married soon. Nevertheless, in the end the key to this issue would still fall on whether Ximena could get pregnant.
When Charlie and Evelyn were told that they would be going to T City on holiday, they jumped about in sheer joy. The twin kids enjoyed coastal places. Unfortunately for them, A City was an inland city. So, the thought of going to T City or Dragon always made them extremely happy, as they would be able to quell their longing for the beach to their hearts' content.
It was past eleven o'clock at night when the airplane they took arrived at the airport of T City. Assuming that Eric and Aaron were still busy dealing with problems of Dragon Empire Group, Molly and Ximena decided not to let them know about their arrival. After getting off the airplane, they hailed a taxi, heading to the hillside villa Richie had bought many years ago in T City.
When the taxi dropped them off at the villa, Molly turned on the lights. Since the place was regularly maintained by hired help, everything was spick and span. However, as soon as Ximena saw the black and white style of decoration in the house, she felt a bit disappointed. She was a fashion designer who was sensitive to colors. Although she was not a home interior designer, she knew the importance and principles of color matching.
"This villa belongs to my father-in-law. He bought it before he met my mother-in-law..." Molly smiled and gave Ximena a bit of history about the place when she noticed Ximena's confusion. "Rumor has it that before he met Shirley, his world was dull and primarily made up of black and white..."
"Really?" Ximena could not help but express her opinion as a professional, "Such a dominant tone for home decoration would only drive people away."
However, at the same time, listening to stories about Richie Long drew her curiosity.
Undoubtedly, Richie was a legend from the Long Family and from Dragon Empire Group. Once, he had willingly stopped and sacrificed an oil exploration program, which could bring him inestimable profit, for the sake of Shirley. Suffice it to say, Ximena was deeply impressed by this and she thought he was probably the only person in the world to do such a thing.
Pointing at a room casually, Molly said, "I will stay in this room together with the kids. The other rooms are clean. You may choose any one from them as you like..." Suddenly, she paused upon remembering that Ximena wasn't a big fan of the black and white decorations. Then she pointed at the room next to the master bedroom and said, "Well, since you don't like the color tone of black and white, you may take this room... It's purple, by the way."
"Oh?" Ximena was a bit surprised.
"Shirley likes purple, which probably explains this room," Molly explained with a smile. "Good night,"
Ximena smiled back as she pulled her luggage into the purple room.
