Love Began with the First Meeting novel Chapter 1351

On hearing that, Molly felt even more pity for her son. Addison had decided to return to the National Congress and become a candidate for the ruler only for her and Brian's sake. As parents, they hadn't done too many things for their eldest son. On the contrary, their eldest son had sacrificed his free development and future for their sake. Whenever she thought of this, Molly would feel very sorry for him. She considered that she owed him as he had done more than any child should do for their parents.

When he looked at Molly, Brian's eyes shone with pride and concern. Then he turned around and went to the kitchen to heat up their late night snacks. Addison's return to the National Congress had been a huge load on Molly's mind. No matter how he tried to explain to her, she simply could not relax. Whenever she saw Addison, her concerns would surface and she would then feel sad.

In fact, Addison would have to return to the National Congress sooner or later, even if he hadn't done so for their sake. What was more, in addition to Addison, Charlie and Evelyn would also have to return to the National Congress at some point in the future. Richie had left Dragon Island many years ago because he had no other choice. The reason why Brian had chosen not to return to Dragon Island was the same as Richie's. In order to take over XK Intelligence Agency, he had to give up the political power of Dragon Island. He didn't plan to let Addison or Charlie take over XK Intelligence Agency, so they would have to return to Dragon Island sooner or later and then continue their lives as candidates to be the ruler.

After Brian heated the snacks, Addison ate some together with Molly and Brian. Briefly, Molly could forget her thoughts about Addison's return to Dragon Island. Soon she joined the father and son in talking and laughing. Seeing how happy she was, Brian allowed a faint smile to show on his lips.

"Take some time off tomorrow morning after the morning assembly," Brian said to Addison in a plaintive tone. "Your uncle Eric will have somebody pick up Maggie. She has been studying changes in ballistic curvature too."

Hearing this, Addison frowned slightly. His youthful face already hinted at his potential to become a handsome man in the future. It seemed that he had difficulty in accepting his father's arrangement. After thinking for a while, he asked, "Could she rather come after four o'clock in the afternoon?" After a short pause, he explained, "I have to see off Princess Misa of Y Country at the airport. She's returning to her country tomorrow."

Hearing the reason, Brian agreed without the least hesitation. "Hmm. Then I will change the schedule."

On the following day, as soon as the morning assembly had finished, Addison left the National Congress together with Wyatt. Wyatt drove the car for Addison, heading to the consulate of Y Country.

Princess Misa was in her first year at high school. She had come to Dragon Island as an exchange student. Today she would return to her homeland after a semester's long stay. Like Addison, she had studied at the Royal University of Dragon Island. Since Addison had skipped a couple of grades, the two of them had become classmates. As a result, the relationship between them not only involved the friendship between their two countries, but also their friendship as classmates.

In fact, this involved an unwritten practise in the interaction between two countries. The top leaders of a country taught their children social etiquettes, communication, and protocol since their early childhood. As their children grew up, they would encourage their children to establish contact with the children of important figures from other countries in the form of overseas study tours or exchange learning. They were considering and planning for their children's future. It was a type of preventive measure to ensure wealth and prosperity for the future. Maybe their children would have the chance to make good friends with some of these people. In case of any emergency in the future, they might even seek help from their foreign friends.

Addison gave Misa a going away present and had lunch together with her. After lunch, he escorted Misa to the airport.

According to the local custom, Dragon Island had planned to arrange a private airplane for Misa to return to her homeland, but Misa had refused any special treatment and she wanted to travel in the same way as ordinary people did. Finally, Addison had given in and exchanged the private airplane for a first class airline ticket on a routine commercial flight for her. Meanwhile, he instructed the captain of the airplane and the chief flight attendant to take special care of Misa during the journey.
