"Release me... Release me!" Like a beast caged, Spark's eyes were bloody red. He didn't in the mood to think and determine whether the man was telling truth or lies. He was letting his anger take over him, he struggled and shouted, "Release me! Where's Brian Long? Brian Long, do whatever the hell you want to do to me! But face me like a real man!" His screams echoed throughout the empty building.
"Shut up!' the leading man in black bellowed, peeved at Spark. He gestured something to his companions and one of them handed him a dagger as the other released Spark's left hand and slapped it on the abandoned work bench in front of him. His mouth was curled in a wicked smile. The man said mercilessly, "Spark, do you still think you can escape?"
Before Spark even realized what was happening, the man held Spark's wrist with one hand and the other raised to stab Spark's hand with his dagger while a woman's horror-struck scream of "no" came through. Spark howled as the dagger broke through his skin and bones.
Molly's eyes widened in fear and her mouth was still agape as she heard the loud howling. Her breathing turned heavy as if everything was in slow motion for a while. Molly's eyes blinked rapidly as her eyes fell on the dagger on Spark's hand. Her face was white as a sheet—partly out of horror and partly out of anger. She wanted to find out who did this.
"Mrs. Molly Long ?!"
one of the men in black called out and everyone else looked back in alarm. When he saw Molly standing at the door of the building soaking wet, the leading man asked, "What's Mrs. Moll Long doing here? Shouldn't she be in the manor?"
Spark was dripping wet in sweat. His face was still anguished from the pain. After a while, his hand hurt so much that it started to numb down. He raised his eyes slowly to look at the person in front of him turning slightly blurry. Weakly, he mumbled, "Mol..."
"Ah--" Molly screamed. She plodded towards Spark. As she walked, tears rolled down her cheeks and she kept shaking her head as if still in disbelief. She mindlessly murmured, "No, no, no... this can't be..." "No--" after a loud scream, Molly ran towards Spark calling his name, "Spark...Spark..."
"Take her back!" the man barked just as Molly was nearing Spark. Two men blocked Molly and pulled her away from Spark.
"Release me, release me... let me go..." Molly roared as she struggled but she was way too weak for these two strong men.
"Mrs. Molly Long, you're not supposed to be here!" the leading man in black said, while opening his eyes wide. Then he brutally pulled the dagger out of Spark's hand.
First, Spark's vision started to blur then it gradually darkened until he finally lost consciousness. The last thing he saw before completely fading out was Molly and the last word out of his mouth was, "Mol..."
"Spark--" Molly called his name in despair. She forgot to struggle. She just stood there motionless. She stared at Spark's bloody hand, from which the blood spread everywhere on the work bench, "Ah! Brian! You bastard! Ah! Send him to the hospital now!"
"Take her back!" the leading man in black yelled. He had already sent someone a message with his cellphone in this short pause.
The two men pulled Molly back and dragged her out of the building.

Wing was chatting with the troupe head of Sasha Music Troupe. When Wing accidentally mentioned Molly, she didn't expect that they would have such a prolonged conversation about her.
"Although she was hired as a favor for Mr. Brian, she's actually the most experienced one among the new assistants," the troupe head said, smiling. "I didn't know until a few days ago that she worked as Spark's assistant before." He handed a photo, which was the evidence of his discovery, to Wing as he spoke, "So I couldn't believe she would apply to be an assistant for us." Needless to say, the head was still skeptical about something. He had a feeling or instinct about something that he just couldn't shake off.
Wing took the photo and saw that it had been taken on the streets. It was a photo of Spark carrying Mark in his arms and Molly talking with Manny as she held a document in her hands. Since the photo was magnified, the logo of the concert stamped on the envelope of the document was easily recognizable.
Wing smiled as she looked at the photo. She was just about to hand it back when something caught her attention. She snatched the photo back abruptly. At the corner of the photo was a girl taking a photo of Molly with a camera. She was caught at the exact moment. 'She was at the right angle, ' Wing thought.
Wing narrowed her eyes and said, "I need to do something so I'm leaving but can I borrow this photo today?" She hastened to leave after she spoke.
When she got in the car, Wing called Molly right away but she didn't answer. After she hung up her call, someone started to call her.
"Hello?"
"Is this Wing?"
"And you're..."
"Great! Finally I get to talk to you," Little Cutie's voice sounded quite urgent. She quickly briefed Wing about what had happened in the abandoned factory. Then she added, "I haven't done anything. Molly was just in the factory and I heard screams a while ago. What should I do? Molly didn't want to call the police. She told me I could call you though. She said that you would do something about it."
Wing was shocked, "I'm going there right now." Then she hung up the call, started her car, and headed to the abandoned factory.
