Love Began with the First Meeting novel Chapter 856

Ximena Mo stood there in amazement, staring at Aaron, as he flicked the ash off his cigarette in a casual demeanor. Having noticed his questionable motions, Ximena felt a sudden, cold shiver through her body which sent her stepping backwards instinctively.

She stepped back a few more paces until her back felt the coldness of the brick wall behind her. Since going backwards was no longer an option, her knees trembled with fear and she fell straight to the ground. "I am not one of your trading products!" Driven to desperation, Ximena spoke in a low voice through gritted teeth, her honey brown eyes flashing with anger.

Aaron snickered contemptuously and said,"In my eyes, everything, including you of course, is a trading product." He raised his eyebrows, but his eyes didn't stray from his emotionless face. "The only difference between you and another trading product is the value," Aaron added.

Ximena clenched her fists tightly, and when she spoke, she spoke through gritted teeth. "You said that you weren't interested in me, right?"

Aaron put out his cigarette in the ashtray, and wiped his hand across his forehead, pushing back his fringe. His body language was graceful, but there was an unmistakable aura of malice in him. He answered to her in a cold voice,"Just because I am not interested in you doesn't mean I cannot examine my goods..." While he spoke, his sharp eyes swept up and down Ximena's body, taking in everything. He didn't seem to be bothered by her display of displeasure. "Look, I don't have the patience to deal with your crap right now. If you don't calm down, I won't hesitate to send you to Master Tiger."

Burning rage hissed through Ximena's body like deathly poison, screeching a demanded release. She hated nothing more than to be driven into desperation, but she knew that there was no point in running away from fate... Lying in bed, Ximena started at the ceiling without blinking her eyes. A beautiful, crystal chandelier hanging from the slightly domed ceiling, lit up the entire room like it was in the daytime.

However, she didn't feel cold at all. It was far more comfortable to lie on a soft bed that it was to on pile of paper and dirty clothes.

Ximena thought about it in a self-deprecating way. Of course, it would have been better if there had not been the sharp eyes of a man and the weird atmosphere in the room.

The noiselessness was broken momentarily by a set of footsteps. Aaron's footsteps served as an eerie beat to the rhythmic quickening of her heartbeat.

Ximena gripped the jade seal tight between her fingers, while she held her breath and shut her eyes sensing some peculiar presentiment from Aaron.

Aaron stopped beside the bed and his cold, merciless eyes looked down at her indifferently Ximena had bruises all over her body. Purple welts were scattered across her abdomen like a disease. Some from a while ago, and some newly made. The spreading purple with yellow blotches were only the surface wound. The real ones were within, forever unhealable.

Ximena felt Aaron run his uninvited hands, like a hostile invasion, all over her body, while she clenched her teeth and fists tight, even though the sharp edges of the jade seal was digging deeply into the palm of her hand. All feelings had left her, leaving behind only a sense of deep humiliation. She had no other choice, but to play dead and let Aaron do what he came here to do.
