The banquet was a big deal in the island and what was happening at the venue was shown live on all outdoor LED screens in the island, while newspapers and magazines printed special issues for the event. The banquet this year was a bit different from the previous years for a lot of reasons, but mostly because of the change in ownership of Leng's Corporations. Aldrich Leng, who had once been one of the most influential man in QY Island, and his three sons, had immigrated to foreign countries and left the company to pursue their dreams. The company was now under the leadership of Aaron, who was Aldrich Leng's eldest son, who had never appeared in public before.

Though he had the important event to attend that evening, Aaron was having a pretty busy day. At the moment, he was in the middle of a video conference. Since the construction of the Grand Night Casino was taking longer than expected, his other plans which were bound to the completion of the casino were taking a backseat as well. As a consequence of that delay, a lot of other related issues were being affected as well. The whole situation had to be reorganized from scratch.

Nevertheless, Aaron prevailed over all dissenting views. He used his connections to extend the construction period of the Grand Night Casino indefinitely. He knew clearly that with the opening of the Grand Night Casino in QY Island and with Brian Long's support, underground industries would be sure to face a brand new situation.

His cellphone vibrated on the desk. Taking a side glance at his phone screen, he hinted to the people on the monitor to pause the conference. He picked up the phone. "Hmm,"

he said in an indifferent voice, indicating that he was listening to the person at the other end. After waiting for two to three seconds, Ximena said,"How long will you need to finish your work?" Her words sounded arrogant, but at the same time, it also meant that she was eager to see him.

Hearing her voice, Aaron secretly smiled faintly and his cold face softened a little. "What's the matter?" he asked.

Leaning against the edge of her design desk, she looked at the suit over the model hanger. Ximena raised her eyebrows and said slowly,"I don't want to have lunch alone, so I want to ask whether you have time to eat with me."

Aaron frowned slightly. Because of their busy schedules, they rarely had lunch together, except in some special cases. "I'm very busy," he said. "I'm hanging up, if you have nothing else to say."

Ximena coughed hastily when Aaron was about to hang up. His deep eyes blinked. He placed the cellphone back on his ear. "What now?" he asked patiently.
