The cold drink jolted Julian awake.

Lifting his chin and looking around, he slowly repeated Georgina's words. It took him five minutes to fully understand what she said.

Him? In love with Saoirse?

The question spun in his mind until he came to a definitive answer.

Yes, he had feelings for Saoirse. Otherwise, why would his heart hurt so much after learning of the breakup?

The prolonged silence left everyone in the room bewildered. No one knew how things had taken such a sudden turn.

When Julian finally spoke, his tone was firm. "Yes, I have feelings for Saoirse."

Georgina lost control upon hearing this. She swung her palm at his cheek. "Are you crazy? What's so good about her that you can't forget her?"

The slap fully roused Julian, who shook his head and squeezed his eyes shut. "We were together for three years. She was wonderful; I was the one who didn't treat her right."

"But you've broken up!" Georgina screamed.

Julian's expression darkened further. "Yes, we broke up, but I don't want to leave her. In five days, I'm going to Poralis again to win her back."

All jaws were on the floor. Everyone stared ahead, wide-eyed and in disbelief at what they had just heard.

Georgina was completely shattered by his words.

Everyone had always said that Julian was obsessed with her, yet during the four years she spent abroad, he never once reached out to her.

And now, less than a week after Saoirse left, he was flying out to go after her and was determined to continue pursuing her even after being rejected.
