“Sienna, Whitney says you never even lived with Mr. Nelson. And tonight, you’re planning to drug him and force him into something he doesn’t want? You look so guilty right now—it’s obvious you’re up to no good! What, you planning to shut us up for good because we caught you red-handed?”
Sandy’s accusations hit Sienna right where it hurt, ripping off her carefully constructed mask.
Just moments ago, Sienna had cornered Sandy at the door, secure in the knowledge that Shane was passed out drunk upstairs. She’d humiliated Sandy, watched her flee in tears, and felt on top of the world, convinced her plan was foolproof.
But she hadn’t counted on Whitney, that backstabbing snake, showing up with the truth.
The fact was, Sienna had never lived with Shane—he couldn’t stand her.
But Sandy didn’t know any of that.
Sienna was desperate to take advantage of the situation: if she could just get Shane into bed, nobody could deny their relationship. She’d finally kick Sandy out of the Nelson mansion for good.
She never expected Whitney would back Sandy up and ruin everything at the last second.
Now, with her plans slipping through her fingers, Sienna’s eyes flashed with rage. She turned her venom on Sandy. “Wow, Sandy, jealous much? You just can’t stand the idea of me making it into the Nelson family, can you? Doesn’t matter what I do with Mr. Nelson—my grandma already arranged our engagement and Mrs. Nelson gave her blessing. I’m a Sheldon, after all—born and bred, pure class. I’m a perfect match for Shane.
Not like you—a nobody whose dad married into the family. You should be grateful just to eat at our table, but instead you’re trying to steal my fiancé? Pathetic. Maybe you should look in the mirror and ask yourself what Mr. Nelson could possibly see in you.
And bringing Whitney here to fight your battles? Useless. Mrs. Nelson has already agreed. Back off, Whitney, or my grandparents will make your life miserable.”
