"Hah, you think you can stir up trouble?" Silver let out a cold snort, stood up, and towered over her, "Squabbles between Nola and I are our own business within the Reynolds family. It's certainly not your place to meddle and spread discord!"
With that, she walked away to find another seat.
Beverley felt her face burn with embarrassment.
Nola witnessed the entire scene, her disdain for Beverley almost spilling from her eyes.
Sure, on a regular day, she and Silver didn't see eye to eye, but it was merely due to their different personalities and approaches. Even though they occasionally argued over differing opinions, they were still family at the end of the day.
Who in their right mind would team up with an outsider to badmouth their own family?
Beverley must be out of her mind.
