"Is there something important going on?" Roseanne immediately became serious.
"Yeah. It should be... good news for you, I guess?"
"What is it already?" Roseanne's eyes sparkled with curiosity.
The more he held back, the more intrigued she became.
"Here's the thing..."
Owen Reynolds had visited an old friend yesterday at the neighboring business school and had "casually" made a small request.
"Professor Farrell has agreed to free up one of their biology labs for us. I've checked it out, and they have everything we need for our experiments, including the CPRT."
"Really?! That's amazing!"
Roseanne nearly jumped for joy.
Wasn't this just like finding a pillow when you're sleepy?
She had been worrying about finding a lab, and Owen Reynolds had already sorted it out for her!

A poor soul kicked out into the cold suddenly finding a warm place to stay, and it was move-in ready, no less.
Roseanne couldn’t help but rush over and grab Owen Reynolds by the sleeve. "Professor, you're just too awesome!"
Her dark eyes shined as if they were lit from within.
Even through the fabric, the warmth of her hand on his arm was palpable.
Their eyes met, and Owen Reynolds' lips curved in a smile.
That’s when Roseanne realized she might have gotten a tad too excited.
She quickly withdrew her hand, "Sorry, Professor, I just got a little carried away."
In her haste to apologize, she missed the fleeting look of disappointment in his eyes. "It's okay."
"To show my gratitude, you’re coming over for dinner, and no refusals!" she declared before dashing home.
The man's initially dim gaze instantly brightened.
