Chapter 329 Proposals Gone Wild

Fraser, dressed casually, was squatting down, tossing a plastic ball for the fluffy Pudding. Each time Fraser raised his hand, he threw the ball far into the distance.
The ball ended up in some forgotten corner, but after a while, Pudding always managed to return. precisely, ball in mouth.
From the corner of his eye, Fraser saw Xavier approaching and casually stood up, walking over to sit on a garden chair.
As Pudding came back with the ball,
Xavier, carrying a toolkit, opened it and pulled out a stethoscope. He crouched down and. expertly began a basic check–up on Pudding.
Seeing this. Pudding dropped the plastic ball on the lawn and obediently stayed still for Xavier’s examination.
Once Xavier finished, Pudding immediately ran back and settled next to Fraser’s leg.
“He’s healthy, just his stomach’s a bit weak; he’s getting old after all. You might want to ease up on the intense activities.”
Pudding seemed to understand and barked loudly, as if to deny his age.
Xavier clicked his tongue, “Can you believe it? I’ve known Pudding this long, and he’s still like this.
with me?”
After all, he was the hospital director and had been moonlighting as a vet for nearly ten years. This ungrateful dog really didn’t know how good he had it.
Fraser’s thin lips curled slightly, “Maybe it’s because you’re not exactly charming.”
Me, not charming? In Havenbrook, who doesn’t know I am the most likable? Not to mention this Pudding. who only has eyes for its master. That really hurts!
Fraser lounged back in the chair, casually propping up a leg and reached down to pet Pudding at
his feet.
“Did you hear that? You’re old, buddy. Tone it down a bit, will you? Don’t always snatch up the ball expecting me to play.”
Pudding lifted his proud head and turned away. Xavier couldn’t help but laugh.
“I have to say, he’s a lot like you; just as proud.”
The two men sat on one side of the garden, against a backdrop of colorful flower bouquets, looking every bit the part of handsome figures in a portrait.

Xavier picked a grape. “Did you call me over just to check on Pudding?”
That dog, Pudding, was Fraser’s pampered pet.
Not one, but two dedicated dog nannies, and no less than three vets just for him.
Fraser sipped his coffee, gazing at the fluffy Pudding playing in the distance, and said. deliberately, “I’m going to propose to Summer.”
Xavier was stunned for a moment. Then he asked, “Aren’t you guys already planning to get married? How come you haven’t proposed yet?”
That comment earned him a chilling look from Fraser.
Xavier chuckled nervously, taking a sip of his coffee, “I was just curious, that’s all, haha.”
Fraser’s eyes were deep, his fingers slowly rubbing the coffee cup, “You’ve had quite a few girlfriends. What’s a proposal supposed to be like?”
Xavier, who had just taken a sip of coffee, choked upon hearing this.
“What do you mean I’ve had quite a few girlfriends?”
Fraser gave him a sharp look, “Isn’t that the case?”
Xavier straightened up, “I might have had one or two, but I’ve never proposed!”

He was a committed bachelor, and any marriage would be an arranged one by his family; why would he need to propose?
Fraser, ever so serious, said, “You must at least know something about it. I’m giving you this chance to offer me a suggestion.”
