“Let me go. I have a lot work to do.”

Kern kept driving. Not a second was wasted. The traffic was pretty good.

“Follow me and you’ll know the truth.”

“Or do you just want to live in deception?” Kern said.

Grace gritted her teeth.

The car drove into the parking lot of the Building of the Shaw Group.

“Get off, please.” Kern opened the door and got off the car first. Then he opened the door for Grace. But it seemed that Grace didn’t want to get off. “I can carry you out of the car if you want.”

He said teasingly.

Grace suddenly glanced at Kern. At that moment, Kern actually wanted to send her back. But he strangled that impulse at once and put on a teasing smile again.

“Please.”

She got off the car indifferently.

“Now that things have come to this point, don’t run away.”

Kern took the lead and teased her.

“I don’t think you will let go after you made a real effort to bring me here.” Grace said calmly and followed him.

They got on the elevator. In the elevator, Kern looked at her carefully. When was the last time he looked at her so carefully?

It was a long time ago.

Kern was still staring at her when the door opened.

“Are you going to keep staring at me like this?” She raised her eyebrows and asked in a low voice.

Until then, Kern realized that the elevator door had already opened.

Grace walked out of the elevator.

Kern suddenly reached out and grabbed her arm, “Aren’t you curious about why I take you here?”

“Does that matter? Anyway, you wouldn’t let me go.” She looked at him coldly.

Her sarcastic tone surprised Kern. He looked at her and said, “Well. Then let’s go.” Somehow, he didn’t want to continue his plan.
