It was Sapphire’s phone that was ringing. When Sapphire looked at the caller ID on the phone, her face turned pale immediately. It was her nominal husband, Lochlan, who called her.

The moment Sapphire held the phone, her hand shivered unconsciously, “Lochlan, What do you want to talk to me about?”

“Sapphire, do you go out to seduce another man? You fucking bitch, get back now!” Lochlan growled, with a morbid distortion in his voice.

Sapphire took a deep breath and tried to make her voice sound calm, “Lochlan, shall I go back later? I have something urgent...”

“Something urgent is to cuckold me?! Sapphire, I’ll ask Mr Preston to kill that old woman if you don’t come back now!”

When she heard the name of Preston, Sapphire felt a pain in her heart. Thinking of Preston’s threat to her, Sapphire said to Lochlan in a low voice, “Okay, I’ll be right back.”
