Chapter 144 I’m Your Boss and Your Husband

On Monday, Clarissa’s desk phone started ringing loudly in the audit department. It was a call from Damien

“Drop by my office. Bring your identification card with you.”

Clarissa thought, ‘Why did he come looking for me on a Monday morning? Is he planning to divorce me?’

Damien’s legal director was also in the office. He was busy filing the documents, which included property ownership and countless other documents.

“Her name is already listed in the deed of the property in Etheria. List her name on the rest of the documents,” Damien commanded the legal director.

“Yes, sir. The contract’s already done. All I need is Mrs. Lawrence’s signature. I’ll take her identification card to handle the rest of the process,” the legal director replied.

Clarissa looked very confused. “What?”

“By the way, make sure to spread all of this to the rest of the company so that the rumors of Clarissa marrying for the sake of a contract will be dispelled. Now go,” Damien added.

The legal director exited the office.

Soon, Clarissa was the only one there.
