It was already spring, and the days were getting longer.

The sky had yet to darken at five in the evening.

Thanks to Damien, Clarissa had to endure an additional hour of tutoring after work.

After work, she went to his office as per his instructions.

Damien‘s phone rang and he quickly answered it. “Peterson? Where? Hatton Hotel? Okay.”

He stood up, getting ready to leave.

Clarissa found the surname “Peterson to be very familiar, but she couldn‘t recall where

she had read or heard it. After all, there were plenty of entrepreneurs with that surname.

Because Damien had said that her tutoring would go on for longer if she didn‘t pay attention, she kept her eyes on her book. She didn‘t dare to look at him at all.

“Aren‘t you going to ask me to stay?” Damien asked,
