Chapter 293 Little Tricks After work, Damien came upstairs to look for Clarissa.

He frowned slightly when he saw the smoothies.

“Smoothies again?” he asked.

“I had a craving for them,” Clarissa answered absent–mindedly. She was still hard at work.

She reached out to grab one of the smoothies for a sip when Damien took it away.

“Why are you such a control freak? You want to control what I wear and drink! Is there anything that you don‘t want to control?” She questioned him, looking up at him.

“So, you‘re throwing a fit over this?” Damien asked.

“I‘m not throwing a fit. I just like smoothies.”

Damien‘s expression softened. “Go on, then.”

The sudden change in his attitude confused Clarissa. He... wasn‘t going to control her anymore? If so, then she didn‘t really want to drink the smoothies anymore.

She was acting like a child. If Damien wanted to control her, she would feel like rebelling. If he stopped bothering her, she would no longer want to go against him.

She was no longer paying attention to her work. “Why aren‘t you drinking?” Damien‘s gaze traveled from the monthly report to Clarissa‘s figure. “I‘m busy working.” Damien smiled knowingly.
