“Why didn’t you add me on Instagram? Did you see my friend request?” Clarissa asked after she calmed down.

“Why did you add me when you hate me so?”

“I…” Once again, Clarissa didn’t know what to say.

“You wanted to see Neil?” Damien guessed that Lily had probably told her about his Instagram when she had gone back to Genovia. That was why she sent him a friend request.

Finally, he’d gotten to her!

“Are you going to add me or not?” Clarissa asked.

Damien let her go, his tone becoming relaxed. “Give up. I’m not going to add you.”

Clarissa was speechless.

She turned to leave.

“Stop right there.”

“What now?”

“I heard you’re Eric’s godmother. Do you know who his godfather is?”

“I didn’t ask. It’s probably you.” Clarissa kept her eyes down.

“You knew very well it was me, but you still insisted on being his godmother. What are you playing at?” Damien’s gaze locked onto hers.

“I…” She couldn’t say anything again.

She wanted to say she didn’t mean anything by it.

But the words were stuck in her throat. Anyone would think she had returned from Lotharia in hopes of getting back together with him.

“I’m going to go.” Clarissa never knew what to say whenever she was with Damien.

Damien: [Go find out whether Lucy has a child. Buy some clothes and milk for the child, and make sure you buy a lot. Also, make sure that they’re of good quality.]

Assistant: [Alright.]

Damien sat down on the sofa.

Neil then came out of his bedroom.

“Why aren’t you asleep yet?” Damien asked.

“Whoa, Daddy! You have a way with the ladies, don’t you? When it was just me and Uncle Ray at home, you’d definitely wear your pajamas after bathing. This time, you only wrapped a towel around yourself to welcome the pretty lady. I bet she was completely bewitched!” Neil grinned.
