Love in Twilight novel (Clarissa and Damien) novel Chapter 474

Clarissa merely glanced at Damien when he walked into the kitchen, not saying a word.

The kitchen was on the small side. It was already quite hard for her to move around in here, let alone Damien, who was taller and more built. Instantly, she felt oppressed.

“Which uncle?” Damien asked Neil.

“Huh?”

“Neil said an uncle told him about the past. So, he knows you’re his mother now?”

“Yeah. My Uncle Peter came to visit Connie on set.”

“The one you’re directing?”

Clarissa froze. She was a little angry, and a little disdainful.

“I’m not as scheming as you are, thank you very much. You’re the one behind what happened to Madelynn and Lucy, aren’t you? You killed my mother, and you now have two more lives in your hands,” she said blandly.

Suddenly, she was swept off her feet. She found herself seated on the kitchen counter, not even knowing how she had ended up there.

“What are you doing?” Clarissa looked at the floor. Damien’s sudden move had made her spill the egg whites.

“Lucy’s kid isn’t mine!” He leaned against the counter and looked right into her eyes. There was a hint of desperation in his voice.

Clarissa kept struggling. She was worried that the custard tarts would burn, which would make all of her efforts go to waste. But the more she struggled, the tighter Damien’s grip became.

He had one hand behind her head and the other around her waist. He pressed his forehead to hers, and she couldn’t move at all.

“You’ve been with me for so long, but you still don’t know what I’m like. You deserve to be kept on a tight leash!” Damien’s deep voice rang out next to her ear, his tone filled with arrogance.

Clarissa’s heart raced. She hated him, but she couldn’t break away.

“I didn’t ask you to murder anyone!”

“Who exactly have I murdered?” Damien squeezed out through gritted teeth.

Now that he was seeing Clarissa up close, desire pulsed through him. The urge to have his way with her made him tremble.

She had once mentioned that it was ridiculous for her to still have sexual urges now that she was in her thirties.

He, on the other hand, was close to being forty. Yet not only did he have sexual desires, but they were also very much raging.

Now that Clarissa had pushed all of his buttons, he was practically burning with rage and desire.

Damien suddenly pressed his lips to Clarissa’s and pulled her into a rough, passionate kiss. He missed how well they had gotten along in bed very much.

This kiss seemed like it would go on forever.
