When Clarissa reached home, she saw that Caleb had left. She threw herself on the sofa, intending to continue working on her research project.

“Forget it.” Clarissa hung up.

Clarissa was confused. After that, she called Rem and Lisa and asked if they had a backup. However, they said that they prepared only their own part of the content. How could they have a backup?

Clarissa sighed helplessly. Then, she called Caleb again and asked him who else had been at her house this afternoon.

“Oh! Miss Chanel was there, but she saw you weren’t home and left,” Caleb said.

Caleb then thought about his words. He told Clarissa that Chanel had been to her house. Wasn’t it the same as pushing the blame on Chanel? Caleb didn’t know if Chanel had actually stolen Clarissa’s work. Therefore, he briefly told Clarissa about Chanel’s quick visit.

Clarissa then called Chanel.

“Your project? I don’t know. I’m not from the finance faculty. Why would I need your project?” Chanel sounded a little angry at the accusation. “Clarissa, what do you take me for?”

Clarissa had to redo the project from memory. However, redoing the project from scratch would be useless if someone had already stolen her project. Someone else would own the copyright. Filled with ire, she slammed her hands on her computer.
