Time flew by, and a month had passed. Claire had finished her confinement period and no longer needed to be as cautious every day as before. 

After discussing with Charlie, Claire decided to invite an 

an expert to teach her combat arts. She didn’t want to live in constant fear and caution forever. One day, she wanted to go out and live a normal life like everyone else. Especially now that she had a daughter, she needed to protect her in the future. 

It wasn’t just Claire who wanted to learn combat arts. Charlie soon realized the responsibility resting on his shoulders. He needed to protect his wife and his daughter in the future. So, he decided to train alongside Claire.

“Rena” was the nickname of Charlie and Claire’s daughter, and the child’s full name was Serena Carter. The name was chosen by Claire. It doesn’t carry a complex meaning. It was just a wish for her daughter’s life to be serene and pure, unlike the darkness associated with the Jones family. 

In addition to learning combat arts, Claire, like Charlie, also used the internet to invest in various ventures. Having been trained as an heir of the Jones family for many years, Claire had a keen eye for investment. The projects she invested in quickly became profitable.

To make it easier for Claire to watch movies, Charlie built a large home theater in their house. This way, they could enjoy watching big movies without leaving home. 

When the little one was over a year old and walking steadily, Claire had already selected several original novels online and bought the film adaptation rights. Charlie immediately sought out a professional editor to adapt these novels.
