Love That Wasn't Meant to Last novel Chapter 73

Recalling Sylvia's attitude and her opinion of Adenville, it seemed impossible to convince her to return to Carzonia.

When I rejected another one of his ideas, Zion couldn't hold back any longer and snapped. "Hudson, are you crazy?"

"You rejected every plan I suggested. I kept coming up with something, and you kept saying it won't work. If you're so capable, come up with a good plan yourself instead of torturing me."

Seeing Zion's exasperation, I frowned and decided to share my idea instead.

"Alright, I have an idea. Sylvia has always mentioned she wants to travel, but she's never had the chance because of work and money. This time, we can fulfill her wish."

During my time in Adenville, I hadn't been in touch with Sylvia. Although she hadn't said anything, I was sure she felt hurt. This trip could serve as a way to make it up to her.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to join her on this trip.

"How long do you plan for her to be on this trip?" Zion asked.

I thought for a moment and replied, "About half a month. Delay her meeting with Selena as long as possible. Even if I can't fully handle all the issues in the company within that time, I believe, after half a month, Selena will be familiar enough with the company's operations to manage on her own without my help."

"I need your help with this," I added, looking at Zion.

With Zion's help, I soon found where Sylvia was staying.

It was clear she had planned this. After arriving in Adenville, she quickly found a place and moved in.

I pressed the doorbell several times before Sylvia finally opened the door.
