Chapter 11 

“Kayla, you are so smart! This is so amazing! Very soon, we won’t have to look at her face anymore!” Amber said. 

Kayla felt good to be praised by her friends. She definitely can’t let them know that Miles and Micheal have broken up with her. She needs to get them back before anyone else knows about it or else she will be too embarrassed to attend school. 

“Of course, I need to teach Alexia a lesson and put her in her place. She thinks she’s better than all of this, in my opinion, she’s such a free slut!” Kayla said. How dare Alexia go talk to Miles and Micheal? She deserves every single thing that is going tó happen to her! 

“You know, I’m so envious of you. You have a strong wolf and you’re even the mate of the alphas. You’re going to be the Luna! My mom always says that I have to learn from you and be a wolf like you” Amber said. She was looking at Kayla with admiration in her eyes. 

Kayla smiled anxiously. This is the reason why she has to get Miles and Michael back at all costs…no matter who she has to sacrifice. 

“Are you guys really going to go to their school today?” Jenna asked. She stood in front of Miles and Michael. The both of them had dressed up and were leaving the house when Jenna stopped them. 

“Of course. We already talked about this yesterday right? We have to go see for ourself if she’s like Kayla. Something told me yesterday that she isn’t like that. She seems like she’s been through a lot. But you never know until you confirm it for yourself right?” Miles asked. 

“I know all of this…I just didn’t expect the both of you to make the choice to go so soon. I thought you’d at least give it a few days” Jenna said. 

“Why are you so interested in whether we’re going or not? I don’t think it makes sense at all” Micheal asked with a raised eyebrow. 

Jenna did not dare to meet Michael’s eyes. He is much more scarier than Miles. He can always see through her, no matter how hard she tries to hide it. 

“Nothing…I should be the one asking you this question I think. Why do you want to go see her? It doesn’t really make sense at all if you ask me. You didn’t know her before this. Why are you curious about her?” Jenna said. 

It wasn’t that she didn’t want her brothers to go see Kayla’s sister, it was just that she didn’t want to be left all by herself with only the guards in the palace. She doesn’t want to see someone and only her brothers will be able to stop him from coming in to see her if he comes to visit. 

“You were so in support of this yesterday Jenna. Why did you change your mind out of the blue?” Miles asked. He still had not caught on that something is wrong with Jenna. 

“Well, that was yesterday. I thought about it all night and I think that the both of you don’t need to go. Just announce that you’ve rejected Kayla as your mate and she won’t dare to come look for the both of you again. 

Why go see her sister?” Jenna asked. She laughed to hide her nervousness but Micheal was buying none of it. 

“I think that you’re just trying to stop the both of us from leaving the house” Micheal said. 

Jenna’s eyes widened in disbelief. How was he able to guess her thoughts so accurately? 

“Wait….how did you….” 

“How did I what? How did I know what you are thinking? Well, for the record, you are making it so obvious Jenna. You are someone who likes to get to the bottom of everything. You wanted us to go see Kayla’s sister for ourselves and now you’re suddenly against it. This clearly means that you’re hiding something. You want us to stay here for a reason. And there’s only one reason that I can think of” Micheal said. 

“I don’t…I don’t know what you’re talking about! I am not trying to stop the both of you from leaving here! You can go see whoever you want to see and you can go wherever you want to go. I just think that it’s useless if you’re going to see Kayla’s 

sister. 

You already know that she’s a liar. What are you trying to prove by going to her sister?” Jenna asked. She had already been caught by Micheal, she can only bite the bullet and continue to lie pathetically. 

“You are not a very good liar, Jenna. You’ve never done a good job hiding your lies. Do you think that I don’t know that you turned Axiel away when he came to see you last night? I saw everything Jenna. And don’t even deny it,” Micheal said. He knows that Jenna doesn’t like her mate Axiel who is the alpha of the neighboring pack. 

But there’s nothing that he can do about it. Jenna is the only one who can decide who she wants to be with for the rest of her life. 

If she refuses to reject him as his mate then there is really nothing that he can do to help her. 

Jenna’s face went red after she was called out by her brother. 

“I…I sent him away because it was already so late. What is he thinking coming to see me at that time? Does he think that everyone else is a night owl like him? I can’t even stand him!” Jenna said. 

She hated how much of a womanizer Axiel is and she hates how much he always thinks that he can get any woman of his choice with the right price. And that is why whenever he comes to see her, she always finds a way to turn him away. 

“Jenna, do you not like Axiel?” Miles asked. He was a bit slower than Michael and so he had not noticed that his sister really did not like her mate. 

“Like? Ha! I hate everything about that person! He’s such a flirt and a womanizer! He’s always with a different she wolf every night! Isn’t he afraid that he’ll contact some kind of diseases if he keeps sleeping with anything that he sees? Besides, he seems to think that he can win every woman over with gifts and money!” Jenna said. 

Miles frowned. “Since you don’t like him then reject him as your mate. Your happiness is the most important thing here” Miles said. 

Jenna said. “How do you want me to do that? If I reject him, he might get angry. Axiel is a really egositical man. What if he gets angry that I rejected him and he decides to take revenge on us? What if he decides to go to war with our pack? I just want to maintain the peace that we have between the two packs” Jenna said. 

“But Jenna….” Miles tried to say something but Micheal interrupted him. 

The only person who can make the decision for you Jenna is you. Think about it, do what you think is best for yourself. Make sure that you pick the choice that will make you happy. We just need you to know that as your brothers, we will do everything and anything that we can to protect you. We won’t let anything happen to you, or to this pack. As the alphas, it’s our duty to protect it!” Micheal said. 

He too didn’t like Axiel. He knows that Axiel’s private life is very messy. He has many women that he’s sleeping with. If Jenna goes ahead and becomes his Luna, she will have to suffer. 

But Micheal also respected his sister’s wishes. He doesn’t want to force her to do anything that she doesn’t want to do. 

Whether she wants to reject the mating or really become the Luna, it’s all up to her. 

Jenna looked at her brothers gratefully. It always feels nice to have someone who always has her back.
