Chapter 20 

Matthew’s eyes immediately widened when he saw this scene. Axiel frowned. Just then, he remembered that there was someone else behind him. 

He turned to face Mathew sharply. He saw that Mathew was staring at his sister wide–eyed. 

“Get the fuck out!” He yelled at Mathew. 

Matthew, who was still lost in his trance, immediately recovered. He turned and walked out of the room as quickly as he could. 

Axiel lifted his sister out and brought her to the bed. Then he covered her with a blanket. 

“Acella, can you please stop acting like this? You doing this is not hurting anyone else but yourself!” Axiel said angrily, 

Acella rolled her eyes. “You don’t need to care about me. You’ve never cared about me anyway. You can just ignore me the way you’ve always done! After all, you’ve always cared more for your numerous girlfriends outside than for me!” Acella said. 

Axiel was upset. “Do you really think so lowly of me?” He asked. 

Acella gave her brother a disappointed look. 

“I’ve never had any expectations from you. I already know that I’ll never be your priority” she said. 

Axiel stormed all the way back to his room after he was done talking with Acella. 

Actually, that could not be called a conversation. It was just him saying whatever he wanted and Acella choosing to believe whatever she wants. 

He really didn’t know how he was supposed to deal with Acella. It isn’t that he hates her personally, he just couldn’t bring himself to deal with a younger sister that he doesn’t know what’s going on in her head. After their mom and dad died, he swore to himself that he’ll do everything that he can to make sure that he leads the pack well. He really doesn’t know how he’s supposed to take care of a sister that won’t talk. She’s his sister and he loves her but what is he supposed to do? Axiel was confused. 

He suddenly thought of Jenna. He has met all kinds of she–wolves. And the ones who have a family like hers, brothers who will protect them because they are weak and wait for others to do stuff for them. 

But Jenna…. Jenna is different. She doesn’t just sit and wait for whatever is coming to her. She is actually trying to get stronger. And he can see that she’s making improvements. Should he really give their relationship a chance? Get to know her better besides wanting to just make her his trophy Luna? 

He walked into the room absentmindedly. Axiel had no idea that there was someone else in the room. He reached out his hand to turn on the lights but before he could turn on the lights, a slender hand reached out and wrapped her hands around 

his waist. 

He knew only one person who could be this audacious. Nadia. 

Axiel pried her hands away from his body and turned to look at her. He switched on the lights and saw the flimsy excurse of a 

dress that she was wearing. 

His Adam’s apple rolled and Axiel could feel the blood rushing to a certain part of his body. But when he thought about how Jenna was being so cold to him because of the way he slept around, all the feelings that he had dissipated into thin air 

He just wanted to be as far away from her as possible. 

“What are you doing here?” He asked rudely. Axiel didn’t want anything to do with her anymore. Ever since he knew about her ambitions, he has been avoiding her. He knows that he can never make a person like her his Luna. 

Nadia did not seem to get the message. Instead, she gave Axiel an extremely sexy look. “What do you mean? Didn’t you already know that I’m going to be here?” Nadia asked him righteously. 

“Whatever happened between us that night was a mistake. I don’t want a repeat of that. You can get out now” Axiel said. He didn’t want a repeat of his argument with Acella. He didn’t want her to look at him with so much disappointment in her eyes. 

Nadia frowned when Axiel said this. “What exactly do you mean by this Axiel? Is it because of that wolf? You know that she’s a weak wolf and she will never be a good match for you! She’s a proud wolf who thinks she’s better than everyone else! Do you think that she’ll be able to handle you? No she can’t! She can’t because she doesn’t love you! She doesn’t love you as much as I do! You need someone who’s madly in love with you! And believe me, I do, I do love you” Nadia said. 

She sounded sincere. 

But this made Axiel extremely angry. He just wanted to flip now. 

“Get out of my room. I don’t want anything to do with you from now on” Axiel said. Although he doesn’t like Jenna, he has never wanted to reject her as his mate. Why will he do something like that? 

“What….what do you mean?” Nadia asked me. There seemed to be pure shock on her face. Like she couldn’t believe that Axiel will kick her out. 

One would think that she would have already known that he doesn’t care about her one bit after what happened last time but Nadia never seemed to learn her lesson. 

“I said that you should get out! I don’t want anything to do with you! You really should know your place, Nadia!” Axiel warned angrily.
