Chapter 95 

Jenna told herself that she will never let any wolf treat her like that even if that wolf is her mate. She already told herself that she can’t fall in love with him but it seems that her brain keeps forgetting that warning. She found herself falling for his 

sweet mouth more often. 

Now that she has seen this for herself today, it’s a wake up call. She can’t fall in love with Alpha Axiel. She can’t end up like Nadia. Not in this lifetime. 

Speak of the devil and he appears. Just then, she saw Axiel walking over to them, it seemed that he couldn’t ignore it anymore and he had to come take a look for himself.

Nadia shook her head. “I love you. You know that I am in love with you. You can’t deny the feelings that I have for you! They are true! Axiel…it’s all because of her…she’s forcing herself to be with you because of her brother’s influence right?” Nadia said. She seemed to have told herself that Axiel can’t actually like Jenna because she can’t stand the thought of her losing. 

Jenna shook her head. She will never understand how a she wolf can have so Little self respect. Even if she loves Axiel so much, she should at least love herself a bit more right? 

“Nadia, you know that there was never anything more than money and  between us. I didn’t want to have anything to do with you because of our past relationship but I won’t tolerate you further. Stay away from me, stay away from my sister, and stay away from my mate Jenna. I won’t have this conversation again. I’ll let you go this time but if you dare do something like this again, then know that I will personally kick you out of the pack and I am not joking at all” Axiel said. 

Nadia shook her head as she tried to process what she just heard. 

“No Axiel….you can’t do this to me…not after everything…you just cant” she said. 

“I can and I will. Don’t let me take drastic measures against you Nadia. And don’t even think about taking out your anger on Jenna just because she’s my mate. You are going to regret it. Even if I don’t do anything to you, you know that her brother will never let you off if you dare to hurt their sister. Think about it carefully” Axiel said. 

“So are you admitting now that all of this is because of her brothers? You are just scared of her brothers! You don’t want to offend them!” Nadia said. 

Axiel Shook his head. He already knew that it was no use for him to try to talk sense with Nadia. She’s caught up in her own head and she’s going to believe whatever she wants. 

“Why are you still keeping her here? Throw her out of the palace now! I don’t want to have to see her face anymore!” Axiel said. 

The guards held Nadia’s arms as they forced her to leave. Nadia kept struggling. She didn’t want to be dragged out like a common thief! Can’t these people just let her retain a bit of her dignity? Even if it’s a single bit? 

“I can leave on my own! You people don’t have to drag me out like I stole something from you!” Nadia said. 

Jenna shook her head and stepped in. “You don’t have to drag her out. She can leave on her own” Jenna said. 

The guard knew that Jenna is going to become the next Luna so they listened to her words and let Nadia go. 

Nadia glared at Jenna. “I don’t need you to pretend as if you care!” Nadja said. 

Then she turned to Axiel. “you are going to regret this. I’ll make sure that you regret ever looking down on me and choosing

her over me” Nadia said. 

Then she strutted out. Jenna sighed. She did not take offense at Nadia’s last words. She understood that she was trying to protect whatever was left of her shattered pride. 

“What’s the point of pretending to be a big shot? She’s already a disgrace” one of the guards said. 

Axiel finally focused his gaze on Jenna. He knew that she must be very angry now and that he has some explaining to do for her. 

Jenna…..you are here” he said softly. 

Jenna nodded her head. “Of course. I thought to myself that I should give you a surprise and come see your pack for myself since you are the one who’s always coming to mine but I guess I am the one who got surprised instead‘ Jenna said. 

Axiel sighed. Nadia just messed up things for him. He had planned to leave her alone for now but he decided to take a bit of action now. She won’t learn until he’s fierce with her. 

“Are you angry? What you saw….I really wasn’t doing anything with her, L….” 

“You don’t have to explain yourself Axiel. I am not angry at you‘ she said. 

And Jenna meant it. She wasn’t angry at all. She was feeling a whole range of emotions, some of them, she could not identify them yet, but she wasn’t angry, at least not at Axiel. 

Technically, he didn’t do anything wrong. It was just his past haunting then. 

She felt enlightened. At least she has seen reasons why she can’t hand her heart over to the wolf in front of her. 

“Let’s go over to the meeting room. I think that we need to talk” Axiel said. 

Jenna shrugged. She didn’t mind if he insists on explaining himself to her. She will listen if that’s what he wants. 

The both of them went to the meeting room and sat down. 

“First of all, I want to let you know that nothing happened between us, I Know that I am not a trustworthy person, I mean, my personal life is messy, I will prove myself to you bit by bit. But since I told you that I want to make this work, I’ll never cheat on you. I have that much dignity” Axiel said. 

Jenna nodded her head. “Of course I know that nothing happened with her. I am not stupid after all. She was practically dragged out of here by your guards. If you had slept with her, you won’t have asked them to drag her out like that right? It’s not as if I’m dumb” Jenna said with a laugh. 

Axiel still wasn’t satisfied at this. His heart was beating fast. “If you know this, why are you angry then? You already know that I did not sleep with her even though she tried to seduce me. Why are you mad?”
