Eden stepped closer to me, and I Instinctively stepped back. He smiled and said, “Be my girlfriend.” 

I was stunned but quickly managed a mocking smile. “Mr. Griffins, making such jokes early in the Isn’t really appropriate. You know-

“I’m not joking,” Eden interrupted me. “Only my girlfriend would have the privilege of meeting my dad.” His words left me frozen. It was clear that he was using this status to pressure me. Sure enough, my hunch was correct. I just smiled in response without saying anything. 

“How about this? You name your condition. What would it take for you to agree?” Eden continued. 

His offer was very much in line with his wealth and bold personality. 

I didn’t respond, so Eden added, “If you agree, you’ll be the future Mrs. Griffins and the lady of the Alpha Corporation. I’ll transfer all my assets to your name upon marriage. Not only that, but there’s also-”
