Lisa had thoughtfully sent me a message, explaining that it was normal for women to have slight injuries during their first time, so I shouldn’t blame Brandon for it. 

I thought Brandon owed Lisa a big thank you. She had not only helped him out of an awkward situation without him realizing it, but she also arranged for Keith to perform surgery on Ellie. 

Even though I was injured, Brandon had to control his desires. So, I thought he would quietly go back to his room. However, he didn’t leave. Instead, he held me tightly in his arms. 

“Brandon, aren’t you uncomfortable?” I asked playfully while lying in his arms. 

He only replied, “Don’t talk and go to sleep.” 

I chuckled and teased, “Can you even sleep like this?” 

“Mae,” he called me in a hoarse voice, “don’t be naughty.” 

Brandon was indeed uncomfortable, longing to touch and suppressing his desires. If he slept alone, he probably wouldn’t feel so bad. However, he insisted on staying with me. He was just bringing this upon himself. 

So, I poked him with my finger. “Why are you doing this to yourself?” 

In response, he just hugged me tighter. 

At that moment, I secretly smiled, realizing that even tough guys have their childish moments. 

“When do you plan on bringing Ellie over?” I asked, turning to a more serious topic while still in his embrace. 

“I’ll go to the company tomorrow to make the arrangements and pick her up,” Brandon replied, gently stroking my shoulder. 

“Will you come back right after or stay a few days there?” I asked casually. 

“How long do you want me to stay there?” he asked me in return. 

I was a little taken aback, understanding his implication–he thought I would miss him. 

This guy was quite a narcissist. 

I didn’t take the bait and asked him, “Are you taking the train or flight?”
