Chapter 934
Keira woke naturally, without anyone disturbing her. She wondered if she might be the first bride ever to enjoy such a luxury.
When she stepped out of the bedroom, she was greeted by two makeup artists waiting patiently for her. Lena was already awake and waved at her with a cheeky smile.
“Hi, good… good morning!” she said, stumbling over her words. She probably almost said ” Happy wedding day” but changed it at the last second.
“Good morning to you too,” Keira replied, feigning ignorance. She yawned and asked innocently, “Who are these lovely ladies?”
“Your makeup artists! Today is your… special day. You’re the center of attention, so you have to look stunning!” Lena stammered, clearly trying to keep the secret.
Even now, she was still playing along. Keira had to admire her dedication. But she didn’t let on. She was curious to see how Lena would explain things when it came time for her to change into a wedding dress.
Keira nodded casually. “Alright, I’ll go wash up first.”

In the bathroom, she stared at my reflection in the mirror. Her hand drifted to h ightly rounded belly as she spoke softly, “Baby, your daddy is marrying mommy today.. on, we’ll have a home again.”
Ever since she left the Johnston family, something inside her felt incomplete. Even with Hayden by her side, the emptiness lingered.
She knew it was because she didn’t have a home of my own. Houses didn’t make a home. A home was where someone loved you, where a light was always on, waiting for your return.
She lost her parents and her home over a decade ago. The Johnston family gave her a place to belong for a while, but it didn’t last. Now, finally, she was about to have a real home again.
Outside the bathroom, she overheard Lena on the phone.
“Yes, I know… I didn’t wake her. She’s in the bathroom now. Alright, I’ll bring her over soon… Don’t worry, President Hart. Your wife–to–be will be delivered to you safe and sound.”
Hearing that made Keira smile.
That was Hayden–always thinking of her, no matter where he was.
“Keira, you’re going to be okay. More than okay.” She silently wished herself happiness.
When she came out of the bathroom, Lena handed her a glass of water, “Your tea, Princess.‘
“Thank you,” Keira said, taking a sip as she sat down in front of the vanity. The makeup artists immediately got to work, carefully crafting her look.

An hour later, she barely recognized myself. She looked stunning, as if someone had waved a magic wand over her.
She recalled a popular saying online: “A woman should always dress her best and love herself fiercely.”
“If I’d known I was going to look this good, I should’ve bought a fancy dress,” Keira said slyly, aiming the comment at Lena.
