Megan stood at the window and saw Caleb's car drive away before turning around and walking back into the living room.
She looked up at the lights in the living room and smiled. She thought Caleb would only send a repairman over, but he came along with him.
Megan suddenly felt that the current Caleb seemed to be a little closer to the Caleb that Eva was talking about.
Eva waited until Caleb came back before she dared to rest, and went to sleep knowing that nothing was wrong.
The following day.
Caleb told Eva to get up and have breakfast, but Eva, who was already sleepy and had slept early last night, didn't get up no matter how much Caleb shouted at her.
Seeing that Eva was so sleepy, Caleb didn't tell her that he was going to pick Megan up from her apartment to go to the hospital for a review.
"Why isn't Eva here?" Megan was a little surprised not to see Eva when she got into the car.
"She's still sleeping."
Without Eva, the atmosphere in the car was a little strange on the way, Caleb drove without talking, Megan wanted to talk but didn't know what she could say.
There were no words along the way.
Caleb informed the hospital director early enough that he could start doing tests straight away when he arrived.
People come and go in the hospital lobby, and when they see Caleb, they stop to look at him.
"This man is so handsome, really handsome."
"Wow, it's simply the best on earth."
"Hey, the one next to him is his girlfriend, right? It's really happy."
All along the way, there was talk of Caleb. Megan listened to their voices and felt that she wasn't the only one who felt this way when she saw Caleb, most people had the same reaction as she did.
But Megan heard the others say she was Caleb's girlfriend, a shiver, but unconsciously heart some secret joy, quietly raised his eyes to see Caleb's reaction.
Caleb knitted his brows and walked faster, leaving the chatter behind him.
Megan trotted close to Caleb's pace, waiting for the elevator side by side with him, listening to the admiration of the people behind her, Megan was happy as if she was now really Caleb's girlfriend.
When we arrived at the designated floor, there was already a doctor waiting for us.
"Mr. Livingstone," the attending physician greeted Caleb respectfully.
Caleb nodded his head.
"Nothing is wrong, all indicators are normal." After doing the examination, the attending doctor reported to Caleb with the examination report.
"Really?" Megan took the test report with some excitement, "I told you there was nothing more to me."
"However, it is better to pay attention in the near future and try to avoid bumping into each other again." The doctor looked at Caleb and said, however, his head was spinning with thoughts, what is the origin of this woman around him, to let Lumenstone president accompany a piece of review.
When she came out of the hospital, Megan didn't know whether to be happy or lost. She was well, and that meant she might never see Caleb again.
"Mr.Livingstone, you go back first, I want to go shopping by myself." Megan looked at the people coming and going on the street and suddenly didn't want to go back to the empty apartment.
"That's fine, you take care of yourself." Caleb admonished and then drove to the office.
Megan stared at the direction of Caleb's car leaving, unable to withdraw her gaze for a long time.
