Chapter 7 Party Time, Yah, Ugh
After an hour, I came out of the bathroom dressed in a short red dress, which Maddie sneakily hid. I should have gotten up from the bed to pick out the dress. The dress hugged my body perfectly, showing my curves; it stopped above my knees, exposing my long legs.
It's a good thing I shaved this morning.
"Don't you think this dress is a little short? It makes me look like a hooker." I said this as I examined myself in the mirror.
"No, it's not short, and you don't look like a hooker. If anything, you look way too hot." Maddie replied.
"I can't help the way I look, and you don't look bad yourself. I guess we can't just help it; we look too hot." I chuckled as Maddie gave me a high five.
She was putting on a crop top and matching bum shots; her blond hair was straightening and falling off her shoulders. After Maddie was done with my makeup and curled my hair, we took a quick picture and sent it to Sofie.
Maddie took her keys, and we went out the door. The sun was already gone, and the moon graced us with her presence like the queen she was.
After about 20 minutes, Maddie turned onto a gravel road that led up to a mansion. We pulled up to the side of the driveway, and I could see a lot of students walking towards the house.
The music was blasting through the speaker. We got out of the car, and Maddie locked her arms around mine as we walked through the front door.
If I'm going to get through the night, I need a drink.
I saw a couple heavily making out at the side of the room, while some guys were having a drinking challenge. We were able to spot Daniel and Dylan; Hayden was not with them, which is a good thing. Hopefully, he will decide to skip this party.
We walked in the direction of where Dylan and Daniel were, and Maddie flung herself into Dylan's arms.
"I am surprised to see you, Bree." Dylan teased. I wasn't really the party type, so I understand why he would be surprised.
"I had to drag her here; she didn't want to come." Maddie spoke; her fingers played around with Dylan's hair.
"Breeee, I have missed you." Daniel said, his eyes widening to see me here. By the way he was moving, it showed that he was clearly drunk.
"How many drinks have you had tonight?" I questioned.
