Vicky shot him a faint smile. "Mister Hart, isn't it too early to discuss such matters? Let's wait until after a month to see if it actually happens." She took out the clothes from her shopping bag and said, "It's getting late. You should change into your work clothes and head to the office soon."

"I didn't eat much yesterday," Tyler replied, sitting on the couch without moving. "Make me breakfast."

A hint of annoyance flashed past Vicky's eyes, but she calmly suppressed it. "Alright, I'll go and prepare breakfast for you while you get changed."

She did not want to give Tyler any more excuses to bother her.

After breakfast was ready, Tyler appeared downstairs fully dressed. They ate in silence, and soon after, Tyler left.

As he drove away, Vicky noticed that he had shamelessly parked his car in the villa's garage.

Not long after Tyler's departure, Vicky received a call from Aurora.

"Vicky, the thunder last night was so terrifying..." Aurora's voice sounded weak from a sleepless night. "I called Tyler, but he didn't answer. I stayed up all night, I was too afraid to sleep."

Vicky did not know what to say. After all, it made sense that Tyler did not answer any of Aurora's calls because he was with Vicky all night.

Suppressing her guilt, Vicky spoke, "Why don't you just go home and apologize to your parents? I'm sure they won't blame you for what happened."

"Not a chance," Aurora immediately refused. "If I go home now, they might think that I plan on accepting their arrangements, and I won't be able to pursue a career in the entertainment industry anymore if I do that."

"Then… Why not hire a female bodyguard to go with you?"

"It feels awkward and strange to be in the same room with someone I don't know well."

Vicky wanted to point out that they were not familiar with each other either, and it would be awkward for Aurora to stay at her place. Moreover, it was odd for her ex-husband's current fiance to be anywhere near her.

Vicky did not relent. "Since you didn't sleep well last night, you should rest properly during the day."
