The news reporter feigned surprise. "Ms. Shaw, what's with all these marks on your neck? May I know if you're single now?"
Vicky paled and snatched the scarf from the reporter's hands. "No comment."
"Are you feeling guilty?" The female reporter stared at her with contempt and grabbed a cup of drink to splash it on Vicky's face. "You shameless homewrecker! Stop acting all innocent!"
Suddenly, an intimidating gaze landed on Vicky, and she instinctively turned to look over.
A tall, elegant man stood in the distance and watched as chaos erupted. His expression was cold, his gaze unwavering.
Vicky's eyes lit up when she saw Tyler, but he simply looked away as though he did not see her at all.
The reporters followed Vicky's line of gaze and spotted Tyler as well.
"Hey, isn't that Tyler Hart and Avery Yeager?"
"They're here too?"
"Do you think this wicked woman threatened them and made them come here to negotiate terms?" someone exclaimed before abandoning Vicky and rushing to Tyler's side.
Tyler glanced casually at the approaching reporters.
With just one glance, the reporters' footsteps halted. They dared not come any closer.
A bold journalist could not help but ask, "Mister Hart, may I ask what your relationship with Ms. Shaw is?"
"Could those marks on your neck be from some random guy? Is your personal life really this chaotic?"
"You've forsaken everything for money. How despicable..."
The reporters rudely shoved and jostled Vicky, their eyes filled with disdainful glances.
Vicky's mind went blank as she listened to the accusations and insults from everyone.
She did not know who pushed her, but she fell to the ground.
At that moment, she felt a loud pang in her chest.
