"Director Lumber, there are surveillance cameras outside the room, and before Sheila changed into her costume, Maria Sparks was the only one who had been inside—"

Director Lumber interrupted her. "Vicky, you've been in the costume room for most of the day as well. Whether it's you, Maria, or someone else... Regardless, we have no proof whatsoever."

There could not be surveillance cameras inside the changing rooms, so how the outfit was destroyed would always remain a mystery.

He shot her a look of sympathy. "You know that Mister Hart is the biggest investor of this movie, and he thinks that there's a big issue with the costumes you designed if they had caused such an accident... Not only does he want to hold your payment, but he wants you to pay for any losses as well."
