Chapter 2
Going upstairs exhausted, Abby took out the key and turned a half circle to the left. The door opened, and her confused brain instantly became sober after feeling the different atmosphere in the room.
A phone call was coming from the room.
Jason was back.
Was she going to tell him about her stomach cancer? Would he care about her after she told him?
Abby asked herself repeatedly, the door had been pushed open by her while she was still thinking, and then she saw the oncoming Jason looking at her with a sullen expression.
"Where have you been fooling around? Do you know how many calls I've made to you!"
Fooling around? How ironic it is ! Going to the hospital for a blood test and doing a gastroscope could be called fooling around.
Thinking about it, her eyes were filled with tears, Jason didn't notice Abby's red eyes, but he kept using his eyes to accuse her of not answering his phone.
Abby took out her cell phone from her bag, look at the black screen and said, "Out of battery."
She had two mobile phones in total. One was for office work, and the other was specially for waiting for Jason's contact. These two days, she was upset by her stomach and forgot to charge the phone, which made her miss his call on the way back.
"What's the emergency?" Who could let Jason anxious to call her many times was only that person.
While she was thinking, Jason had already grasped her hand and pulled it out, "Mia was injured and lost too much blood. You have to go to the hospital with me."
Sure enough, his nervousness was all for Mia Zore.
Her heart was filled with jealousy and sorrow.
Mia was a severely coagulation dysfunction patient with a rare blood type, and it was Abby who could match her blood type.
Abby's whole body was wet with rain. Her long seaweed like hair was wet against her back. Her lips became pale and her hands were like ice. Jason didn't notice this. The hospital Mia lived in was nearby, and he could walk there in ten minutes, but Jason was anxious, he pulled Abby forcibly into the backseat.
Jason's eyes were fixed on the front of the car. He glanced in the rearview mirror. When he saw Abby's pale face.
He involuntarily frowned: "How can your face look like a ghost?"
…He could find out her difference.
Abby raised her lips sarcastically, while her throat tighthened. She opened the car window and watched the rain outside. Her body was frozen, her breath turned into a mass of ice mist, and her eyelashes trembled.
When Jason coldly looked at her speaking nothing, some ittitation arouse in his heart.
He felt that something was wrong with Abby today.
But after thinking about it, what happened to Abby had nothing to do with him. What he should pay most attention to now was Mia's body. When he thought about it, he lightly stepped on the accelerator and then speeded up.
