Chapter 1052 “I heard that you‘ve been in poor health since a child,” Daniel took a sip of the tea and asked softly.
Ruth‘s fingers trembled. He even figured that out.
It looked like it would not take a long time for him to find out about Adeena.
Should she wait until he figured it out or should she take the initiative to tell him everything?
Even if she told him everything, it would not change the fact that the Willis family had caused the death of Adeena‘s baby.
“I heard that you nearly died four years ago. Luckily, the Willis family found a blood donor. Only then did you survive, right?” Daniel continued asking.

Ruth clenched her fists, raised her head, and asked, “Why are you looking into my past?”
Daniel looked at her quietly. “What do you think? Why am I looking into your background?”
Ruth‘s heart trembled.
She was just a young girl in her early twenties, so she could not bear being questioned like that.
All kinds of ideas crossed her mind. She gritted her teeth
and said, “I don‘t know what you‘re trying to do, but whatever it is, it‘s none of my business!”
She got up and tried to leave.
Then, she heard Daniel‘s soft voice behind her. “Ms. Willis, you have one last chance after this.”
Ruth stopped walking for a while before she left in a hurry.
The hotel room door was slammed shut.
Soon after, a tall and straight figure slowly walked out. It was Duke.
“This Ms. Willis clearly knows something,” he said coldly.
