Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children novel Chapter 533

Chapter 533

Catherine was sitting by the hospital bed.

Duke looked at her and said indifferently, “Do you have something to tell me?”

“I’m just an outsider. Logically speaking, I shouldn’t get involved in the Winters family’s affair. But I’m Aunt Mabel’s friend. I can’t just stand by and watch her as troubles weigh her down day by day.” Catherine said plainly, “Mr. Winters, you’re a fortunate child, the heir of the Winters family, the leader of Winters Corporation. You’re shining so bright that everyone admires you. What’s more, you’re marrying the love of your life very soon, and you’ll live a happy family of six. You’re living your best life, but have you wondered why your brother is in deep waters?”

Duke narrowed his eyes. His gaze suddenly turned cold. Catherine was stunned when she saw his reaction.

‘I have seen pictures of Duke on Aunt Mabel’s phone before, and at that time I was amazed at how identical

Duke and Earl looked. Their facial features, outlines, and body shapes looked as if they were carved out of the same mold.

‘Now that I’ve seen how cold Duke’s gaze is, not only do they look alike, they even have the same temperament…

“The only difference is that Earl looks gloomy and fierce all the time.

Duke will only show this side of him once in a while…’ “Looks like you’re a persuasive talker.” Duke sneered, “I guess Earl has visited the manor abroad frequently for the past four years. Otherwise , why would you be willing to speak up for a murderer?”

Catherine’s fingers stiffened.

She did not expect Duke to guess this right. She took a deep breath and said, “Earl is Aunt Mabel’s son. What’s wrong with him visiting the manor to see his own mother? As for the part where you call him a murderer, I can’t agree with you on that. Earl was young at that time, and he was forced into a desperate situation and had no choice. That was why he made a bad decision. It has been a decade, Mr. Winters, why do you still want to bring it up?”

“He was fifteen years old at that time. He must take accountability for what he did. But instead , he…” Duke pursed his lips. He did not want to speak anymore. He said coldly, “Please leave!”

Catherine stood up with a cold expression. “Earl doesn’t owe you anything. You shouldn’t push him over the edge!”
